About MPB Insurance & Risk Management

Tina has over 20 years of diverse insurance experience.  She is dually licensed in Property and Casualty and Life and Health. Her focus on risk assessment enables her to develop insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of businesses and individuals.  In her previous role, she successfully managed a team as an agency owner and continues to lead as VP at MPB Insurance.  Analytic skills enable her to look at complex risks and make informed decisions that benefit both the insured and her team.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating and being on the water.

Erin Rupp entered the employee benefits industry in 2000 after serving our country in the US Army.  Erin has a comprehensive background in employee benefits operations, compliance, benefit administration, benefit technology, self-funding and contract negotiation.  Her ability to think outside of the box to identify creative ways for her customers to save money sets her apart from the competition. Erin enjoys spending time with family, going on camping trips and sitting on a beach soaking up the sun.

Ginny has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She is very knowledgeable and eager to help our clients. Ginny mainly focuses on commercial lines but also works closely with our personal lines clients as well. 

Melissa has 15 years of experience in Insurance. She started in Personal and Commercial Lines and transitioned to Employee Benefits 9 years ago. She joined MPB in 2024 with the acquisition of Commonwealth Benefits Group. Melissa has lived in Central PA her entire life and has a passion for helping her clients. She is and avid reader and enjoys traveling with her family. 

Zach has been with MPB Insurance since the agency’s early days and has served in different roles across Personal & Commercial Insurance as well as Employee Benefits. Zach started his career in the insurance industry as an intern and continued with a sales and marketing role for a local agency, while completing his degree at Penn State University. He is in process of obtaining his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation.

Sarah has been working in the insurance industry for 2 years. She is our personal lines administrator and works closely with our bank partners on home and auto policies. Sarah is an avid skier and enjoys traveling with her family and friends. 

Olivia joined our team in 2023. She originally started on our bank side and was with Mid Penn Bank for 2 years before joining our team. Olivia works with our commercial team focusing on customer service as well as new accounts. She is the Vice President of MPB’s Women’s Leadership Network and enjoys volunteering within her community. 

Elaine Butto joined MPB Insurance in 2023 as an Insurance Accounting Specialist. After earning her bachelor’s degree in finance from Bloomsburg University, Elaine worked in various managerial positions in banking for ten years before moving into the insurance industry where she has been in agency accounting for nearly 28 years. Elaine resides in Berks County with her husband and their rescue pup, Lilly.
