Anna Woodside Scholarship
Mid Penn Bank’s Anna Woodside Scholarship rewards four outstanding high school seniors with $1,000 for college tuition costs. To be considered, applicants must prove dedication to academic excellence and community service.
The scholarship is named in honor of Anna Woodside, a woman of great influence to Mid Penn Bank for more than 75 years. Ms. Woodside broke barriers for women of her generation by attending college, pursuing a career, and spreading philanthropy throughout the community. The scholarship will reward students who show qualities similar to those of Ms. Woodside.
Eligibility Requirements
Interested students may complete and submit an Anna Woodside Scholarship application. An official high school transcript, a community service list, and an essay must also be submitted. In order to be considered, applicants must reside in Mid Penn Bank’s service area. Applicants must enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for the fall term of the 2023-2024 school year. Employees of Mid Penn Bank and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply. Need not be a Mid Penn Bank customer to apply.
Applications must be postmarked by March 27, 2023.
