We are focused on growing our team of employees and aiding in their professional development. We believe that our ongoing success depends upon a skilled, satisfied and valued workforce. As a community bank, each individual employee has the ability to contribute to our goals.
My opportunities here at Mid Penn have been extremely rewarding. I am pleased to be part of a remarkable financial institution and the professionals that it assembled to make a remarkable team. As I now begin year 50 in my banking career, I could not think of a place that I would rather be, than here with my friends and colleagues at Mid Penn Bank.
President of Commercial Real Estate
Mid Penn Bank does a great job in identifying and developing young talent. I came to this bank as a credit analyst with intentions to become a commercial lender in the future. In less than one year, I have been promoted to a Professional Development Associate, assigned a commercial lending mentor, and have received recognition from my peers and colleagues at all levels.
Professional Development Associate
I enjoy building relationships with customers and offering products or services that are beneficial to them. It is my goal, every day, to set an example of professionalism within the branch and go the extra mile for our customers. Mid Penn Bank is family-oriented, provides support and service to the community and has a robust employee engagement program. I would tell a job seeker about all the awesome perks that come along with working here: employee recognition awards, encouragement from supervisors and peers, community events and volunteer opportunities.
Assistant Branch Manager
I was hired with the intention to become an agricultural lender for Dauphin, Northumberland, and Schuylkill counties. In a little over two years, I have achieved that goal and Mid Penn Bank has supported me every step of the way. The Agricultural Lending team, of which I am a part, has helped me so much in my professional career path. They have all taken me under their wing and I know they want me to succeed.

Everything about Mid Penn Bank makes it a great place to work! I know my direct manager is a great leader and I enjoy working with my co-workers. One of the first things that stuck out to me about Mid Penn was their involvement with and commitment to the community. I enjoy the many opportunities to volunteer and participate in fundraising and community events.
Mid Penn Bank’s greatest strength as an employer is the care and interest demonstrated toward employees. I truly feel valued in my position. The culture here is one of support, encouragement, positivity and professionalism.
Mid Penn Bank gave me a chance with no banking experience. I am forever grateful and look forward to a successful career here. The team I work on is very supportive and helpful. They challenge me and encourage me to learn, every day. I absolutely love the employee morale at Mid Penn Bank. There are many employee engagement activities throughout the year and they are all top notch! My favorites are the visit from the ice cream truck in the summer and our annual employee awards ceremony.
Loan Servicing Representative
Mid Penn Bank has supported my professional growth by encouraging me to continue development in my field and has recognized my hard work with a recent promotion. I have also been given the opportunity to train new lending assistants. It is gratifying to see them become successful in their position.
