MID PENN BANK AWARDS WOODSIDE SCHOLARSHIP TO LANCASTER COUNTY SENIOR
Mid Penn Bank (the “Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (“Mid Penn”) (Nasdaq: MPB), is proud to announce that it has awarded the Mid Penn Bank Anna Woodside Scholarship to four outstanding high school seniors. The annual scholarship rewards deserving students with $1,000 each for college tuition costs. Among the recipients is Lancaster County student Caleb Miller of Donegal High School.
“This scholarship program is a wonderful tradition that honors one of the most important people in the 155-year history of Mid Penn Bank, Ms. Anna Woodside,” President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi said. “The scholarship recognizes students who exhibit traits similar to those displayed by Ms. Woodside throughout her life. Commitment to education and the community are at the top of that list.”
Miller is a 2023 graduate of Donegal High School and resides in Lancaster County. His future plans include furthering his education at the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology this fall.
Miller was selected from over 200 applicants residing within Mid Penn Bank’s service area. He was chosen based on his academic achievement, community service, and an essay about future career goals.
