Your security is our priority. As your trusted financial partner, we’re dedicated to helping protect you from fraud-related activity. Together, we can safeguard your Mid Penn Bank accounts and financial well-being.

Tips for preventing fraud:

What you can do
  • Phone Calls: Fraudulent calls can appear to come from a trusted source. If you receive an unexpected call or are unsure whether a caller is legitimate, hang up and contact your trusted Mid Penn banker using a confirmed number you already have or a number listed on our official website, midpennbank.com. By initiating the call yourself using a trusted number, you can be confident you are speaking with Mid Penn Bank.
  • Text Messages/Emails: Do not click links or open attachments from untrusted senders.
  • Never share your sensitive information such as passwords, PINs, card numbers, or account numbers. We will never ask for these details unless you initiate the call. As your trusted financial partner, we already have this information.
  • QR Codes: Be cautious when scanning public QR codes.
  • Account Alerts: Enroll in account alerts for real-time account notifications.
  • Account Review: Regularly review your account for suspicious activity. Report anything suspicious and lock your cards if you suspect fraudulent activity.
