MID PENN BANK HIRES ABE IBRAHIM AS REGIONAL PRESIDENT OF CENTRAL PHILADELPHIA REGION
Mid Penn Bank (the “Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (“Mid Penn”) (NASDAQ: MPB), is pleased to announce that Abe Ibrahim has joined the Bank as first senior vice president and regional president of the Central Philadelphia region. In this role, he will lead the Bank’s growth and expansion throughout the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area market. He will be based in Philadelphia and report to Scott Micklewright, president of commercial and consumer banking and chief revenue officer.
Ibrahim brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial banking and leadership. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of commercial and middle market banking at Truist Bank, where he managed commercial and industrial client relationships across Philadelphia and South Jersey with revenues ranging from $10 million to $250 million. Prior to that, he was regional vice president and market executive at Northwest Bank, where he oversaw a $350 million commercial loan portfolio and managed commercial and industrial and real estate clients with more than $100 million in deposits. His career also includes senior level positions at Santander Bank and Citizens Bank.

Ibrahim earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in finance from Temple University Fox School of Business. He has also completed formal credit and lending training programs and holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Active in his profession and community, Ibrahim has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 recipient and Diversity in Business honoree, and by Al Dia as a 40 Under 40 award recipient. He currently serves on the executive board of Friends for Good, is a selection advisory council member for the Greenlight Fund, and recently joined the board of directors of the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation. He is also passionate about
mentoring future banking leaders and has led financial literacy seminars to help young adults build a strong foundation for their futures.
