MID PENN BANK HIRES JEFFREY STEIGERWALT AS REGIONAL PRESIDENT IN NEW JERSEY

Jeffrey SteigerwaltMid Penn Bank (the “Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (“Mid Penn”) (NASDAQ: MPB), expands its presence in southern New Jersey with the addition of Jeffrey Steigerwalt as regional president and senior vice president.

Steigerwalt has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, serving most recently at Malvern Bank as executive vice president and managing director of the Private Bank. Additionally, Steigerwalt served as regional president of ESSA Bank & Trust and as a senior vice president focused on commercial real estate at First Niagara/Key Bank. In his new position, he has been tapped to enhance the footprint of the Bank throughout southern New Jersey and will focus on further developing Mid Penn Bank as a competitive presence in the region. Steigerwalt will report to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Scott Micklewright.

Steigerwalt, born and raised in the Philadelphia region, attended Widener University and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an active member of his community, having served on the boards of Johnny’s Rainbow Foundation, Ducks Unlimited Preservation of Wetlands, and Hilltop Baseball League. He is an advisory board member at Villanova University within the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate and a member of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Steigerwalt is an assistant coach for the Margate Baseball League in New Jersey.
