MID PENN BANK HIRES JOHN CARPENTER, JR. AS PRIVATE BANKER IN CENTRAL PA
Mid Penn Bank (the “Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (“Mid Penn”) (NASDAQ: MPB), is pleased to announce that John Carpenter, Jr. has joined the Bank as a private banker and vice president in Central Pa.
Carpenter has broad experience in business development and comes to the Bank from Members 1st Federal Credit Union, where he was vice president of relationship management. He provided services in commercial, consumer, mortgage, and investment products. In his new position with the Bank, he will report to Chief Corporate Development Officer and Executive Vice President Jordan Space.

Carpenter holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from West Chester University. A longtime resident of Central Pa., he is active in his community and serves on the boards of Union Community Care and Lancaster City Fire Foundation. He is a member of the Men of Iron Executive Mentorship Program, a Lancaster Public Library Board Trustee, and chairman of the Lancaster Recreation Commission Board. In 2018, Carpenter was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 Award from Central Penn Business Journal.
