Millersburg, Pa., July 23, 2025 — Mid Penn Bank last week hosted its 2025 Mid Penn Bank Celebrity Golf Classic in support of the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, the Basser Center for BRCA at Penn Medicine, and Cooper University Health Care. For the 10th year, the golf classic brought together celebrities and sponsors passionate about raising awareness and advocating for increased funding for research, legislative advocacy, and high-quality screening, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. To date, the golf classic has raised and contributed $1.15 million to breast cancer charities.

“Breast Cancer is not just a diagnosis, it is a life-changing reality that affects individuals, families, and communities,” Mid Penn Bank President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi said. “Through this tournament, we are honored to support organizations leading the way in research, education, and advocacy, driving meaningful progress for patients today and paving the way toward a future where breast cancer is no longer part of anyone’s story.”

The all-star lineup for the 2025 Mid Penn Bank Celebrity Golf Classic included: Philadelphia Eagles legends Ron Jaworski, Mike Quick, and Seth Joyner; Pittsburgh Steelers greats Merril Hoge, Santonio Holmes, and Mike Merriweather; University of Pittsburgh’s three-time All-American and former NFL player Hugh Green; former NBA player Anthony Bowie; media personalities John Clark, Adam Caplan, and Jillian Mele; model and actress Kim Alexis; and movie and television actors Jake Lockett and Taylor Kinney.

The Mid Penn Bank Celebrity Golf Classic began with a Celebrity Shoot-Out on July 16 at the Hershey Country Club, followed by a Pairings Party and silent auction at the Hershey Lodge. It wrapped up with the Tournament on July 17 at the Hershey Country Club.

In its fifth year, the Project Pink volunteer event was held during the Shoot-Out to benefit women diagnosed with breast cancer. In partnership with the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, participants packed 200 care packages to be sent throughout the state to newly-diagnosed women in need of care, resources, and support.
