MID PENN BANK HOLDS RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY FOR NEW FINANCIAL CENTER IN CAMDEN

Millersburg, Pa., January 31, 2025 — Mid Penn Bank (the “Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (“Mid Penn”) (Nasdaq: MPB), celebrated the opening of its newest financial center in Camden, NJ, with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 30. The event was held on-site at 2 Cooper St., Camden, NJ 08102. The new office brings the Bank’s unique brand of banking to residents, businesses, and communities in the Camden area.

Community leaders, city officials, and local business owners gathered to celebrate the opening of the financial center, the Bank’s first in the area. Mid Penn President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi opened the ceremony by welcoming everyone, thanking local dignitaries and City of Camden Mayor Victor G. Carstarphen for attending, and expressing his excitement in joining the vibrant community of Camden. Mayor Carstarphen welcomed the Bank to the city and presented an official proclamation of the opening of the financial center.

The Bank’s presence in Camden is led by Regional President Jeffrey Steigerwalt, who noted, “The opening of our new financial center in Camden marks the continuation of strategic growth for Mid Penn. We have worked diligently on our expansion into New Jersey, and we are thrilled to bring our personalized approach to banking to the people and businesses that make Camden so special.”

The new office is the Bank’s first full-service financial center in Camden, NJ, and offers traditional banking and account servicing with access to a comprehensive offering of trust, wealth management, and insurance solutions. The new financial center is part of the Bank’s ongoing expansion efforts into the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area. Following this opening, the Bank will open a new financial center in Wayne, PA, in February 2025, and aim to complete its merger with William Penn Bank in April 2025. These additions will bring the Bank’s total number of financial centers to 59, significantly enhancing its presence across the region.

Located on the Camden waterfront in the Triad1828 Centre, the modern facility features state-of-the-art technology designed to enhance customer experience.
