The bank and its employees have committed to making a $15,000 total donation. Employees were given a goal of raising $10,000 to support the campaign, and since that goal was achieved, they will be able to dress down in casual apparel for the entire month of November. Additionally, the bank’s President and CEO, Rory G. Ritrievi will have to remain unshaven throughout the month.

“Our team has already done an incredible job of rallying behind this important cause,” said Mid Penn Bank President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi. “All money raised will support the research efforts of Dr. Jay Raman, chief of the Division of Urology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. We are proud to partner with Dr. Raman and his team to help create more awareness surrounding the fight against prostate cancer.”

The No Shave November campaign is a part of the bank’s yearlong 150th anniversary celebration, which will provide $150,000 in charitable giving, 150 volunteer events and 1,500 hours of community service to the bank’s communities.
