Scottdale Bank & Trust Donates $50,000 to Scottdale Public Library

Scottdale Bank & Trust, a division of Mid Penn Bank, recently contributed $50,000 to the Scottdale Public Library in Westmoreland County through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Scottdale Bank & Trust, a division of Mid Penn Bank, recently contributed $50,000 to the Scottdale Public Library in Westmoreland County through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. The Scottdale Public Library is committed to enhancing the lives of the residents of Scottdale, PA and the surrounding areas.

Mid Penn Bank donated a total of $700,000 through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s EITC program in 2019. These funds were distributed to a variety of organizations throughout its Pennsylvania footprint. Donations given through the EITC program provide educational organizations the funds needed to support scholarship opportunities and to help enhance existing educational programs.
